The UK is one of the easiest countries in the world to perform Umrah from — there are non-stop flights to Jeddah, a well-established visa route and no quota to wait for. A British passport is no obstacle: Umrah is open to every nationality.

February and October half-term
Short, popular and workable without taking children out of school. Book early; these windows fill fast.
Easter holidays
Two clear weeks and usually pleasant weather in the Haramain. One of the best all-round choices.
Ramadan
Unmatched, and priced to match — hotel rates near the Haram climb steeply, especially for the last ten nights. Decide months ahead.
September to November
Outside the school holidays and after the Hajj season has cleared. The quietest Haram and usually the best value of the year.

What about Hajj from the UK?
Different rules entirely. Saudi Arabia allocates Hajj by country, and our enrolment (ENR # 1134) places our Hujjaj on Pakistan’s allocation. So our Hajj packages are open to Pakistani passport holders — including dual nationals and the many overseas Pakistanis in the UK who fly in to join their group each year. If you hold only a British passport, your Hajj must go through the UK’s own allocation, and we will tell you that plainly rather than take a deposit we cannot honour. Your Umrah, though, is very welcome with us.

Umrah from the UK
Can I perform Umrah on a British passport?
Yes, without qualification. Umrah has no quota and no nationality requirement. Hajj is different — our Hajj packages travel on Pakistan's allocation, so they are for Pakistani passport holders, including dual nationals living in the UK.
What visa do I need from the UK?
Saudi Arabia currently issues Umrah permits through the Nusuk platform, and an ordinary tourist visa also permits Umrah for eligible nationalities. Rules change from season to season, so we confirm what applies to your passport on the day you book rather than working from last year's guidance. Your passport needs at least six months' validity when you apply.
Is it worth paying for the non-stop flight?
If you are travelling with young children or elderly parents, usually yes — Heathrow or Manchester straight to Jeddah removes a connection and several hours. If you are travelling light and want the lowest price, a one-stop through Doha, Dubai or Istanbul is normally cheaper. We quote both.
When is the cheapest time to go?
Broadly, outside the school holidays and outside Ramadan — September to November tends to be quietest and best value. Avoid the run-up to Ramadan and the Hajj period, when rates near the Haram are at their highest.
Can you arrange a masjid or community group?
Yes. Group bookings from Birmingham, Bradford and Manchester are a regular part of what we do. Larger numbers reduce the per-person cost and let us keep everyone on the same floors.
